Multi-Cloud Networking: Connecting and Securing the Future

ON-DEMAND WEBINAR

Networking becomes a major issue when enterprises adopt a multi-cloud strategy. From local VLAN and subnetting features to cloud interconnects, routing and security, today’s enterprises lean heavily on the native networking functions and services of their cloud providers. Unfortunately, these native offerings are proprietary to individual cloud providers, which makes building and operating an end-to-end, multi-cloud network extremely complex.

Multi-cloud networking is a universal problem. Today, 72% of enterprises use multiple cloud providers, and by 2024, that number will increase to 88%. EMA’s newly published market research, Multi-Cloud Networking: Connecting and Security the Future, found that 93% of IT enterprises that use two or more cloud providers want to implement an end-to-end, multi-cloud networking solution. The report, based on a survey of more than 350 IT stakeholders, found that network complexity and budget issues are holding many of them back.

In this webinar, EMA Vice President of Research Shamus McGillicuddy and Senior Analyst Robert Gates will share insights from our new multi-cloud networking research. This presentation will reveal:

  • Why enterprises are moving so aggressively into multi-cloud
  • Why only 35% of enterprises believe their multi-cloud networking strategies are successful and how you can avoid similar pitfalls
  • What requirements enterprises should demand of their cloud networking vendors
  • Why only 24% of organizations are fully satisfied with their ability to monitor and troubleshoot cloud networking and how these can be improved
