**The New Automation Challenge: Coordinating Siloed Workloads**

### Tuesday, November 17 10 a.m. Pacific | 1 p.m. Eastern

Ideally, enterprise automation would be managed through a single platform. In reality, automation is increasingly distributed across the enterprise. Cloud services, data platforms, specialized tools, and AI are introducing new ways to automate processes across teams, systems, and business functions.

While each technology may provide a clear view of its own activity, the broader process can become much harder to understand. Every new capability can introduce additional connections, dependencies, and handoffs, making it more difficult to see how processes work end to end and where intervention may be needed when something goes off track.

This is the emerging coordination challenge for enterprise automation.

The issue is no longer simply whether individual automation tools can execute their assigned tasks. Organizations also need greater visibility into how those activities connect across systems, teams, and business processes.

Join EMA President and COO Dan Twing and apsware CEO Peter Thiermann for a discussion about how enterprise automation is evolving as technologies, teams, and processes become increasingly distributed.

Drawing on EMA’s long-term market perspective and apsware’s experience with large enterprise automation environments, the discussion will explore where traditional orchestration approaches can begin to fall short, why the challenge goes beyond simply consolidating tools, and how organizations can create greater context across their existing automation environments.

Later in the session, apsware Head of Development Sven Lennartz will bring the discussion into practice with a real-world enterprise use case and focused demonstration of apsware observer. The demonstration will show how a shared view across automation technologies can help teams understand critical business processes faster, identify issues more quickly, reduce reliance on platform-specific expertise, and ultimately lower operational risk.

Gain valuable insights into:

- Why enterprise automation is becoming increasingly distributed across systems and teams
- Why individual scheduler and platform views may no longer provide sufficient context for critical business processes
- How the need for automation visibility is expanding beyond specialist scheduling teams
- Why replacing existing automation platforms is often neither realistic nor necessary
- How organizations can create a shared view across existing automation environments
